Hello! My name is Finn Järvi but I also go by Finn Reid, my mum’s surname. On February 20th, 2007 I was born in Vienna, Austria where I spent a good chunk of my childhood. My dad is an Estonian-American conductor and my mum is a British-Australian flautist! They met, I think, through music when my mum was part of some kind of youth orchestra in Sydney, Australia—the place I was baptized. Although I was baptized, I do not believe in religion and largely consider myself agnostic. Complex life must have developed from something more powerful, but not from a human god—one that derives its power from human belief.
